Dentistry has changed significantly over the years and so have we! Our goal is to provide the highest standard of dental care in a safe environment utilizing the latest technology. Our office is at the forefront of the current digital wave that is occurring in dentistry. We have crossed the digital threshold and invested the time and resources to be one of the leaders in Digital Dentistry and everything it has to offer.
A complete oral examination is the key starting point in determining if there are any concerns in these areas. We do our best to provide dental health solutions from the simple to the complex with the least amount of dentistry and in a way that works for you.
Were proud of our ability to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our patients and staff! We want our patients to be confident that we have implemented extensive safety measures and thorough infection control procedures in order to keep you, our dental team, and our community safe.
All treatment areas, the reception area, magazines, and any other office features and amenities we are able to clean are cleaned and sanitized regularly. Any office features and amenities we are not able to clean have been removed.
Upon arrival at the office, patients will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 to ensure their safety and that of all of our patients and staff. Each patients temperature will be taken prior to entering the office suite. Any patient presenting an elevated temperature will be sent home immediately and asked to reschedule. Prior to entering the office suite, patients health histories will be reviewed to identify any instances of recent symptoms of or exposure to COVID-19.
The safety and well-being of our patients and dental team continue to be our priority. We are comfortable with providing treatment and have been highly trained to perform in any and all environments, including this one, from day one of our careers.

Dr. Cima was born in Belgium to two Argentine parents but was very much raised in the United States. In 2002, Matias moved to Washington D.C. and has called it home ever since. He graduated from Gonzaga College High School where he played soccer and rugby. He attended the University of Maryland, majoring in Biology with a premed/dental concentration. During his time there, he reached out to Dr. Andrew Cobb expressing his interest in a career in dentistry. Dr. Cobb became a mentor and inspired Matias to apply to dental school.
Matias worked at Dr. Cobbs office from 2012 to 2015 while taking classes at the University of Maryland, and he received his degree in Biology. During his time at the office, Dr. Cobb prepared Matias to begin dental school and his guidance proved effective when Matias began his four-year graduate education at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2015.
Matias was quickly recognized as one of the top students in his class and became one of two students selected to participate in a Digital Dentistry clerkship where he was exposed to the latest technology in the dental field. This clerkship allowed Matias to care for his patients at the University of Maryland using the latest technology and techniques.
Matias speaks, reads, and writes in Spanish fluently; allowing him to care for a large population of Spanish-speaking patients in the area. He hopes to continue working with the Spanish-speaking population of Washington, D.C.
Matias has learned valuable skills during his time at the University of Maryland that he is excited to bring to Dr. Cobbs office. His favorite part about dentistry is being able to improve patients confidence by restoring their oral health and enhancing their smiles. His knowledge of digital dentistry and Dr. Cobbs guidance will allow him to provide quality care to a wide range of patients in the DC area.
