Our Vision is to establish and set a higher standard of care, via a network of dental offices, to serve the DC population. We will accomplish this by trying to make your experience seamless. Getting a breakdown to the best of our knowledge of your insurance information, entering that information into our computer system and then after a thorough dental exam using both our visual and technological experiences, our team will discuss with your treatment plan and estimated associated costs. In this trusted relationship, the more you know, the better decisions you can make about any health care we can provide for you.

We believe Our Mission at City Dental DC is to provide quality dentistry for people of all ages, using the latest technology. We offer a wide range of dental services, including preventive, cosmetic, restorative, sedation, sleep apnea care and reconstructive dentistry. We pride ourselves on our patient-centered practice. We do everything possible to make dental visits pleasant, and positive experiences for our patients. We at City Dental DC continually strive to earn the loyalty and trust of our patients, and expect that we will see second and even third generations.

Lets face it, you hate dentists. We want to make you change that belief. Let us use our skills, technology and experience to help you overcome what you desire, a clean, healthy and beautiful smile. Let us make the dental experience better!

Worst dentist I've ever experienced. Several failed root canals and other fails due to his incompetence ruined my mouth. I'm in the process of a full mouth restoration at a highly rated dentist who couldn't believe what he was seeing in Dr. Tsaknis' work. Simply things that shouldnt happen, from gum necrosis due to a crown pinching the gum to incomplete root canals failing and becoming infected within a month of being capped to him wanted to break my jaw to realign the bite he misaligned by pulling the failed root canals and teeth shifting. New dentist was able to correct my bite and said breaking my jaw to do so was absurd. Avoid this self-absorbed moron at all costs.

Not a good dentist at all. While putting on a crown, he cut too much of the surrounding gym off. I could hear the dental assistant whisper to him about it and nodded her off. Nothing was mentioned to me at all about his error until I saw for myself when I got home. I have gotten several infections because of the gap between my gum and tooth now. But of course it's my fault. This Dentist is always right and is never wrong. I would steer clear of him.

They knocked out a filling in my rear molar and made a couple of lame attempts to replace it all the while trying to talk me into getting an implant...my new dentist filled it with bo problem

If there was a 'negative five' star review, that's the one I'd choose. Dr. Tsaknis is likely the worst dentist in the D.C. area - unprofessional, overly aggressive in recommended treatments, does not discuss options, schedules multiple patients at the same time and wastes their time (procedure that should take an hour max two will take three or four hours), distracted, left work unfinished. Ultimately, if you are coming for a cleaning, you're fine. But for anything else, look elsewhere.

I was referred to Dr. Tsaknis when I first moved to the D.C. area back in 2010. Best decision ever. Dr. Tsaknis, and everyone at the DentalBug are very skilled and professional, and they take an genuine interest in their patients. I'm not just another person on a chair at the DentalBug. They remember who I am and engage in conversations - even if I am not scheduled with them. I actually look forward to seeing them for my check ups and other dental work. They use the latest high-tech equipment and techniques and everything is painless. I used to be afraid of dentists until I started coming here. They always walk me through what they are about to do, and that takes away my nervousness. I highly recommend Dr. Tsaknis and his crew at the DentalBug. I continue to keep him as my dentist even though I have moved out of the area. It is well worth the trip for the quality of service they provide. Thank you Dr. Tsaknis and everyone at The DentalBug!

Worst experience ever. Dr. Tsaknis is super rude and in my opinion is dishonest about potential problems to make more business. Turnover in his office is very high. I can not recommend.

I have always had a great experience with the Dental Bug Team. The reception staff are very warm and welcoming and always encouraging. My last visit was very pleasant although I had some seriously uncomfortable work done, but within the parameters, Dr. Suh made sure I was as comfortable as possible considering the work. And for that, I really appreciate it. Kudos to a wonderful dental experience!

I didn't have any problems nor pain with my teeth when I went in for a cleaning and then was told I had several cavities. I trusted the dentists and went through with their recommendations and paid more than $400 to fill my cavities. I don't know if I ever really had those cavities but I was left with unbearable sensitivity and unable to put too much pressure on the teeth they fixed. After 5 follow-up visits, I just stopped. And more than a year later, I still have issues with those teeth.

Very friendly and accommodating. The dentist took extra time to explain all the situations I was dealing with and gave me plenty of information before making his recommendation. Also the staff were diligent and helpful and I had as good an experience as one can have at the dentist!
