Infinite Smiles DC - General dentist in Washington, DC

Dr. Maryam Haeri received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland. After graduating, she attended Howard University School of Dentistry where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2002. Dr. Haeri has been practicing dentistry for the last fifteen years in Maryland, Virginia and mainly in Washington, DC.

I am passionate about my work as a dentist and I am committed to treating all of our patients like members of our family with the same level of care and attention. My greatest satisfaction comes from helping a fearful patient who has had negative dental experiences in the past overcome those fears with a very positive and comfortable experience.

Based on a second opinion, my diagnosis was terribly inaccurate (and possible fraudulent in my opinion). I have never had a cavity, but when I went to Infinite Smiles I was told I have seven cavities. When I asked the doctor where the cavities were located, all she could tell me was "on the top and bottom of your back teeth, in between your teeth." Thankfully, my insurance covered a second opinion. The other dentist could not find a single cavity or sign of significant decay which would require any treatment. If Infinite Smiles says you need treatments, fillings, etc... get a second opinion! It could save you a lot of time, pain and money!

Bad Experience The Dentist and her staff were really nice. However, unfortunately the billing was an issue for them. They quoted me originally $400 for the procedures (basic fillings), which I was like fine, I can do that. Then after each procedure the cost changed, first $600 and then at the end of all the fillings I owed a total of $1000. I realize that dental insurance is a scam, however, for good customer service I wished they had done a better job at estimating the total cost. They know their costs as well as the type of insurance I had so they can figure this out better. Also, they always told me the cost difference after I completed the service, vs. before, so I did not have the option of not having the service done and to seek care elsewhere. If you do choose this dentist, realize that you should also do your own homework with your dental insurance because I wouldn't trust them to give you an accurate estimate.

I had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Haeri's office and having multiple procedures and referrals done. Her professionalism and gentle care have given me a new vision to dental as I am truly not a fan of dental offices and Infinite Smiles is truly one of the best I know. For any that read this you would be wise to visit as Dr. Haeri office as she is one of the best and her staff is second to known. You will be glad you went and pleased with the service.

I have followed DR. Haeri from the old office to the new one, tat is how I trust her work with any dental work I need done. She is gentle, explains everything to you ahead of time, and professional about every aspect of her work. As a matter of fact I'm on my way to her for my dental cleaning today!

Dr. Haeri performed unnecessary dental work on me. After review of my x-rays, my insurance rejected the claim due to unnecessary worked perform and I was stuck with a $600 bill. I referred my coworked to Dr. Haeri and the same situation happened to her, she was stuck with a $1900 bill. I will not patronize nor refer anyone else to this doctor.

Even though they are a brand new dentist I think my first visit they did was a very excellence job on customer care. They handle my teeth with care. The assistant and front desk are really nice and very respect. The dentist was even kindly to giving me feed back on how I can prove to take care of my teeth and giving tips on what fits the best for me and I recommend them to anyone who looking for great customers service and home welcome feeling when going to get your teeth clean I would say you should check them out for yourself.
